The labels on foods affect how much you want them? For example, I find the red label on coca-cola more appealing than the gold (caffiene free) label and sometimes if I feel I want a coke I decide not to after seeing the gold label. Does anyone else feel this way?

There has been scientific studies that color affects how we eat and our buying trends. Red is the color that triggers hunger and purchase!!! While blue keeps the hunger away. Maybe gold has the sae affect on you!

Well, I can't say that I specifically recall a time like this but I'm sure it's happened because colors can affect your mood. I guess gold turns you against soda, lol & red makes you hot for it. I hope you find a good answer!

Most people feel this way, even if it's just subconsciously. Advertisers and marketing designers, and the companies that pay them billions of dollars a year are counting on the fact!

I don't recall personally feeling this way; but, it makes sense. These companies spend millions on labeling. Of course they have researched the psychology of it.

Yeah. I guess it's part of advertising. I like labels that also have designs or is a cool font.
