This is an old thing to rinse hair with beer. I am 42 and we did it back then. It was supposed to make your hair shinny. It doesnt work. It just makes you smell gross. Use citre shine to make your hair shiney! Beer doesnt do the trick!

unless you are trying to get your hair drunk, there is absolutely no reason to rinse your hair with beer.

If you lean forward over the toilet instead of backwards, the beer won't get in your hair.
