if you want to be cut, sure why not?
its an excellent source of protein in any body builder's diet.
It's low in fat, high in protein,
so you can burn the extra fat, and build muscle at the same time.
it also fights off cravings.
just don't live on them and you'll be alright

Protein bars are like a candy bar, they just are alot more healthier, because they have fake chocolate in them. They give you ebergy for a LONG time. Most protein bars are meal replacement bars so you can eat them instaed of meal, or on the go when you're working out. I eat them at school for lunch because I don't have much time for lunch and I have gym right after lunch, I always have a TON of energy in gym because of the protein bars. Because they are healthier sometimes you can lose weight from them.

Hope it Helps!!!

waterxyro is correct.

However I prefer protein powder instead, most protein bars are way overpriced. You get your money's worth with powder.
