Tell your Grandfather. Maybe he can help you ask neighbors if the kitten belongs to them. If that doesn't work then hang up some flyer's.

If you have made an honest effort to find the owners and can afford to keep the kitten (not only the cost of the food but shots and spaying or neutering) then I am a firm believer that if a cat chooses you then you are very lucky and shouldn't refuse the little thing refuge if at all possible. Good Luck

If the kitten is not wild, try to take inside a garage or something. I wouldn't expose your kitten to the stray you never know what the stray may have.
Give it food and water a warm place to spend the night. If you plan on keeping the kitten, take it to a vet to get an exam and vaccines before introducing it to your kitten. File a found report with your local animal shelter, in case someone lost the kitten.

If it's a kitten, keep it yourself or find someone who you are SURE is a responsible pet owner who will give it love and care. Make sure that the cat is vaccinated and neutered/spayed at the appropriate age.

Be careful what you do with the cat because there are lots of people who abuse animals. If you can't find a suitable home for it, try to find a no-kill shelter to give it to or, as an extreme last resort, give it to the pound. It may be killed in that situation, but that's more humane than giving it to the wrong person.

If you can, keep him. Taking in a stray means vet trip right away and some shots etc. The stray needs to be screened for leukemia and FIV before he has contact with Bailey and probably needs to be checked for fleas too.

You definitely should keep the two kittens separate until the vet has screened the stray. So put him in his own place tonight and feed him. If you can't keep him then he must go out again tomorrow.

I don't think pet kittens just turn up like that unless they ran away from home, but my best suggestion is posting found signs anywhere you can or probably reporting it to the police officers. I'm sure he'll let you keep it until something comes up, and if there's no trace of it's owner, then I think it would be alright to keep... under his consent, of course.

Kittens get along well, I hear.

Ask your grandfather if you could at least take care of the kitten for awhile. If no one is looking for the kitten, you probably can keep it. I'm sure grandpa would do anything for you. Smile.

I love animals and since my parents are allergic, i never got to have a pet. You have a chance to give this little adorable kitten a home and take care of it and play with it. i think u should keep it if u can.

Ask your parents and keep her but believe me your pet kitten wouldn't like the presence of new kitten for sometime.
