The Ten Commandments
Deu 5
1 Moses summoned all Israel and said:
Hear, O Israel, the decrees and laws I declare in your hearing today. Learn them and be sure to follow them. 2 The LORD our God made a covenant with us at Horeb. 3 It was not with our fathers that the LORD made this covenant, but with us, with all of us who are alive here today.
Deuteronomy 1:3
In the fortieth year, on the first day of the eleventh month, Moses proclaimed to the Israelites all that the LORD had commanded him concerning them.
these are just two. The point is if the Levitical law was only given to the Israelites and their decendants how can modern day Christians 99.9% of whom have no connection to the Israelites calim that they are free of the Levitical law if they were never bound by it?

Christ's church is spiritual Israel in the NT. That is why we are called Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.
There is no Jew of Greek, all are one in Christ
Christ broke down the middle barrier
Circumcision is of the heart not of the flesh
James was written to the twelve tribes (church)
Peter calls us a royal priesthood (same as Exodus 19)
Christ is the NT Israel, faithfully passing all the tests that OT Israel failed. Followers of Jesus (church) are NT Israel after the spirit not the flesh.
They are not all Israel that are of Israel
Therefore, the law has been given to the church during the NT time. In the new covenant, the law (10 commandments) are written on our hearts not on tables of stone. Same law, different application because they are based in Christ who perfectly obeyed the law and died because of transgression of that law so that we may obey it through the power of the Holy Spirit. No kingdom is without laws. God's is no different. The law of love is the transcript of His character. It does not change. Love God, Love man.
We are freed from the condemnation or curse of the law, that is death through faith in Jesus. But the law is to be obeyed by the power of God. If you love me keep my commandment. Here is the patience of the saints. Here are they that keep the commandments and have the faith of Jesus.

Acts 15:5
Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, "The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to obey the law of Moses."
before Jesus you had to follow the Law. it was impossible so God sent Jesus as a sacrafice. here's another verse about the gentiles:
Acts 21:21
They have been informed that you teach all the Jews who live among the Gentiles to turn away from Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children or live according to our customs.
and this verse is the promise of Jesus to the gentiles that needed Jesus as our sacrifice too:
Isaiah 49:6
he says: "It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth."

Just an observation.
Most of the time, people ask questions like "Why do you eat pork", or "why dont you take slaves, God said too."
The point you made is exactly the answer. Jewish laws have nothing to do with modern day Chrisitians, for two reasons. We are not Jewish, and Christs fulfilled prophecy fulfilled those laws, thats how we are free, and yes, we were never bound. Not bound is still free.

An absolutely good question. We gentiles were never under the law. It was the Jews. The Jews tried to put the Gentiles under the law but God told them they didnt need it. Some say we still have to keep the ten commandments. I dont understand why anyone that loves GOd and man needs to keep a list of rules around to try to keep him from doing them wrong. It is part of my new nature to love God and man. The Holy Spirit in me created me that way when He came in me to live.

The Law was not intended to be a set of rules to follow. It was intended to show that nobody can be perfect. The Law revealed sin in that nobody could keep all of the laws all of the time. You break one, you've sinned. Just because we are not bound by the Law, does not mean we are not bound by sin. There was only one person who was not bound by sin, and that is why Jesus was called the "fulfillment of the Law" and the Law has since become obsolete.

nicely technically, Jesus got here for the Jews rather lots. It wasn't till Paul's time which you spot something pertaining to to gentiles. If it weren't for Paul we possibly does no longer have christianity - apart from according to hazard a clean sect of Judaism. The regulations that Jesus fulfilled have been for the Jews. There are Noahide regulations that have been for gentiles to stay by way of yet...

Those "laws" you speak of are "man-made" laws, and not Universal Laws. Universal Laws, everyone moves, breaths and has their beingness within them.
