Over the last couple of weeks I have had no enthusiasasm at all to go to the gym, I feel really guilty because I pay so much to have a gym memebership, I have been feeling really depressed,and I hate the though of even going to the gym, but if I dont go to the gym atleast 2 times a week I feel really bad and I start thinking I am fat and lazy.

well you need to workout, thats what gets rid of those feelings.

maybe you should force yourself to workout 3-5 times per week and watch how much better you feel in a week.

Maybe try something different, a different workout at home. Go for a bike ride, punch and kick in the air (taeboe), jogg in your neighborhood do some sprints.

make it fun, mix it up!

Im in the military and the gym is free. I've been telling myself for the past 12 months to go to the gym! Before i joined I used ephedrine and went to the gym. I had energy and motivation to go because the ephedrine gave me energy and keeping a constant ideal weight and getting stronger were motivation to keep going...also I paid for a personal trainer so I would have an actual apointment to go to. bottom line, i stoped taking ephedrine, and i stoped going to the gym, and started gaining weight from being lazy.

I had that same problem, I paid Over $50 a month and never went, finally was able to cancel the membership due to moving too far away. I liked going when I was already in shape and now that I had a baby and am now out of shape again, I didnt want other people to see me.

Ditto. I can't get motivated either. It gets boring, right? I am eating better in place of exercise. I enjoy walking outside best of all when it comes to exercise.

try bringing a friend or relative with you to exercise with and they can push you into exercising and they can make it more fun and in the end of exercising, you will feel better about yourself.

go with a friend. i felt the same way but working out with my friend not only gave me more motivation it strengthened our friendship.
