I use oil of olay lotion on it every morning before I put makeup on, and it's still really try on my temple and forehead area. When I put my makeup on, it makes it even more noticable. I don't really use anything to wash my face with, as I think it's dry enough, what's maybe a better lotion to use??

I would definitely recommend a different facial moisturizer. Oil of olay never worked on me either.
I have been using and love Arbonne's facial moisturizer. My skin looks healthier, feels better and isn't dry!

Arbonne Intelligence Daily Moisturizing Cream, Day & Night- This lightweight moisturizer delivers as much or as little hydration as the skin needs, without feeling greasy or dry.

you prolly shoudn't use lotion...use a moisturizer...lotion will make your face seem soft and not-dry at the time but eventually it'll wear off or cause breakouts because of all the oils. you definitely need to wash your face though...use a VERY mild cleanser (whenever my nose gets dry i use neutrogena clean and clear morning rejuvination with bursting beads) once in the morning and once at night...and after you cleanse, use a face moisturizer w/ sunscreen. even if you don't go outside that much, it'll give your face a nice clean shine.

Have you ever heard of Arbonne products? They are AWESOME! I know several people with dry skin that noticed dramatic improvement within just a few days. Check out this website under the products section. There is tons of information there and if you send an email, you can get a FREE sample to try.

You could try a good facial oil, like Vitamin E and/or Jojoba oil, to start. If those don't help you, perhaps a visit to a dermatologist is in order. A friend of mine has had dryness issues in the same area of her face, along with small blemish-like bumps. She visited a dermatologist who gave her a prescription cream for it, and it cleared up rather easily.

Buy vitamin E lotion/moisturizing cream. I got a large bottle at Walgreen's and it works wonders. You might also want to use facial cleanser to wash your face... There are cleansers that will even state that they are "soap free" on the container. This will be gentle on your skin.

Once a week, when you're ready for bed, put a little (very little) olive oil on a cotton swab and apply to your face in the very dry areas, and massage gently into the skin....

Your face will glow in no time, then apply only once a month to the dry areas.....only when you need it.

you should use a face wash that is made for dry skin. i use neutragena face and body lotion. it works really well and won't make your face oily, plus it help with blemishes. i have to use it in the winter. plus it makes your face feel smooth and smell really good.

try getting an aloe vera plant and cut the leaf in half and get the jelly stuff and put it on your face and let it dry then wash off with water.
