O.k I want to buy a foundation but I haven't got a clue so I was hoping I could have a bit of help. I want a foundation to even my skin tone but I don't want a very heavy one because I want it to look natural. I also find it hard to pick the right colou. Any tips would be much appreciated . Thankyou

I have bought foundations but when I get them home and put them on it makes me look extremely pale. Is their a proper technique to apply it?

I use Bare Escentuals. They are made of pure minerals and very good for any skin type. People don't recognize that I'm wearing make-up, yet they make my skin glow and looks like my natural skin.
You could buy or try it at any Sephora or Ulta stores. You could also order on-line.
Here's the link:

Boots no 7 intelligent colour foundation. It adjusts to your skin tone and it is not too heavy. Or if you want something even lighter try estee lauder daywear plus tinted moisturiser which again adjusts to your skin tone (it's actually blue in the bottle) or almost make up from clinque which is designed to give sheer coverage. Go into boots and try them all out! It's what testers are there for!

Benefit is a great make and they have a product called play sticks and you can use them as concealer or foundation. They are sold in Boots and Debenhams and each place has a trained beautician that will pick the best colour for you and also show you how to apply it. If you want another make most are sold in the mentioned shops and they have assistants to help you out.

I have two words for you... Physicians Formula. It is a pressed powder foundation, and they make foundations to even out your skin, add a healthy glow, or just highlight your faces natural high points. It is light weight and works like magic! It gives you an air brushed finish. You can find it at a Target or Walmart.

you need to get dior's airflash foundation.
I hate heavy foundations. This is a spray foundation. Like a mini hairsray tin you can spray as much as you need to cover.
I don't get many spots so I just use a light cover to even out skin tone. It's so easy to use and light so doesn't have that caked effect. Go down to the counter and ask them what shade would suit you most.
Best thing is that you can spray down to your neck so you don't get that mask effect.

go to a shop like boots or superdrug and find the cosmetics section then find some foundation - i recomend dream matte mouse from maybelline its really good. Find it and test out the testers on your hands and it should blend and look either the same colour as your skin or a bit lighter. Good luck

first get a foundation that is more like a powder than the liquid!! Its easier to work with less messier !!! Second you want try the tester(S) on the back of your hand because they say it is the colour is same as your face!!! And last but not least if all else fails talk to a professional.

Try Bare Escentuals. Its a mineral based powder but goes on like a very light cream, its fab and looks so natural. You can buy off QVC Website. A pot last for about 6 months so good value for money too.

No competition - use Bare Escentuals Bare Mineral foundation. It's just the best ever and feels like you're not wearing any make-up. Covers absolutely everything. You can buy it on Ebay.
