my cat was limping twice, turns out he had a cut in his paw pad. and another time his paw and swollen and had an infection. sorry it's not clear if both his hind legs are injured or just one. other people mentioned getting hit by a car, that sound like a good possibly

A way to check for internal bleeding is looking at his gums. if their pink that's a good sign. apply gentle pressure to his gums, if the spot you just had your finger turns pink again quickly he should be OK, but if it take a little bit that means there isn't good blood flow and possibly losing blood and need to be taken to the vet ER

I hope your kitty will be OK

Maybe a sprain or a break to one (or more) of his legs? It's odd that he drags his legs when walking. Usually animals do that when their backs have been hurt. He may have been hit by a car. I hope that someone didn't have him trapped somewhere and he hurt himself getting away or worse, someone hurt him intentionally. Just keep him comfortable until you can get him to the vet and have him checked out. You may need to take him to an emergency animal hospital. The vet will probably need to do xrays to make sure there are no breaks or any internal damage. I hope he makes a full recovery! Good luck to you and your kitty!!

Chances are he's injured, probably by a car. You need to call the vet now! There could be internal injury, he could be bleeding inside his abdomen.
A phone call to the vet is not usually a charge item. It will give you some peace of mind and also the vet will be able to tell you if this is something that can wait til the morning or if you need to have the cat in the vet emergency clinic now.

CALL VET NOW!!!!!

He could have been hit by a car, or gotten into a fight with another cat, or a dog might have gotten a hold of him. Pets are best kept indoors for their own safety. Get him a litter box and keep him in, the world is a dangerous place for pets.

He could have gotten clipped by a car. not enough to kill, but enough to possibly break a bone. Or when he was runing away from something he might of pulled a muscle. no way of knowing what happened to him. For the future remember that an outdoor cat lives about 3yrs. an indoor cat can live 15+ years

I think he has been attacked by some other animal. I am glad you will take him to the vet to check it out and hope you do it very soon.

sounds like her may have been hit by a car. I would have him checked. Maybe the vet will have him X-rayed

Unfortunately, my personal opinion would be that he got hit by a car. I really hope that's not the case, but definetly take him to see your vet.

Best Wishes!
