When did white phosphorus become a banned weapon under the Geneva Convention?

When did flame/fire become banned weapons? Or smoke rounds?

They're not war crimes unless they've been outlawed.

You want to talk about war crimes? Let's discuss the indescriminate targetting of innocent civilians with bombs and rockets. Let's talk blowing up school buses, and weddings, and churches, and restaurants.

Hmmm, makes the Israelis look pretty good in comparison to the jihadist terrorists, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Palestinians.
