Don't get emotionally attached. It's all fun and games until someone gets their feelings hurt and if you can take the chance of losing this person as your friend when things go sour. Go for it...

I don't like the idea of Friends with Benefits. Be boyfriend and girlfriend or nothing at all. I don't believe that men and women can Just be friends because why the heck wouldn't the man try and have sex with this friendly girl. Friends don't try to have sex with eachother, IMO. Friendship is a non-sex relationship. However, maybe if the man and woman were both in serious relationships and their spouses or girl/boyfriends were friends with one another as well then perhaps some kind of friendship could be arranged. For more on this topic watch "When Harry Met Sally" Circa the 1980's. It's a confusing issue that just has to be worked out as you go with the flow I guess.

Well, I am a little confused by your question. Which is it friends with benefits or just friends. These two are entirely different situations. Yes, I do believe that men and women can be friends without having a physical relationship. They have to be mature about it and make a conscience decision that this is the way it is going to be. We are humans not animals and can control our behaviors it is simply a matter of choices. As far as friends with benefits i believe the men do very well with this type of situation however, most women will become attached and want more out of the relationship. Personally, I do not just want to have casual sex with anyone, I value my self far to much for that. Good luck and God bless

Well I once had a friend with a benefit, it was casual sex without dating. We were attracted to each other and we got close, but decided to stay (friends), after he found someone he liked a lot, he said he wanted to be faithful to her Cause he really liked her . . . but he had to have a last fling be for he had officially asked her out! However, yes men and women can be friends with out having sex, its called self control aka self discipline! If he/she wants benefits make sure your not part of a game or gonna get an STD from some fuctup individual. Don't be the other man/woman cheating sucks when your on the shitttay side of the stick! Be true to your self, if they are worth it then risk it. Otherwise make the relationship count worthy of friendship, or worthy of sexual relations! Don't confuse the two different category's!

No. women and men cannot successfully be friends with benefits because someone is always going to feel differently than the other. someone will get hurt and in the end you will have lost a great friend. you need to both agree on one or the other, a relationship or a friendship. good luck

I've been just friends with a lot of guys, and there's only been attraction with three or four of them. I would rather have a FwB than a boyfriend. Having a long-term relationship only distracts people from the important stuff, but FwBs are always good to have around for, uh, special events.

Friends with benefits is a stupid idea. It only leads to hard times and quite possibly a broken relationship with that "friend." Although it may be challenging for some, women and men can be friends.

Friends with benefits is just an excuse to sleep around and remain uncommitted, and I think men and women can be friends as long as neither one finds the other one attractive.
