Could they be just because he scratches too much and bit them? Or are they something to worry about?

The bumps could be due to him scratching. I have a few other possibilities that this could be, though.

1. Flea allergies. If your cat has fleas, this is a good possibility.
2. Miliary Dermatitis. This causes small scabby bumps on the neck, around the ears, down the backline, and the base of the tail. My cat has this and she gets a steroid shot once a month (called Depo Medrol).
3. Allergies (in general). This is characterized by hair loss, frequent scratching, bumps, redness, & sneezing (occasionally).

I would suggest atleast calling your veterinarian and discussing your options with him/her. Good luck to you and your kitty!!

i would bring ur kitty to the vet to be sure!! they could be ticks or fleas bites!! but seeing the vet is the best way to go!!!
