Idon't know what experiences you have faced which makes you need to ask these questions, as a therapist the questions seem horrific to me. I have made an ethical committment to work to my client's best interests and as such, the only time I would refer a client on is to a more experienced therapist who is more experienced than me, and can do more to help. If you are worried about a therapists credentials, find one at the BACP website. All on this site have agreed to work to a strict ethical framework.

god, no. I can't think of any situation in which that would be considered correct. The therapist must have been a devotee of such a cult in which case they should not have been practising. This is the problem with therapists - it's all bollocks as I have said earlier - it is not emphatic - it is not a true science - it is open to people's own interpretation unlike maths or physics or RELIGION (joke).

Wow, scarlet, I've just finished my response to your earlier question. I do hope this is a rhetorical question, and not one that has actually happened to you.

It seems that spirit of radio has either had a bad experience, or doesn't see the value of psychotherapy. I'm so sorry to hear that, sir. (I'm assuming it's sir by the picture displayed in your avatar.)

It is obviously NOT correct, and I would advise that you report whatever has happened to the supervisors of whomever led you into this situation.
