My friend Lane broke up with his girlfriend of 1 year Annie. Well, technically she broke up with him. She didn't even have the decency to break it off face-to-face. She wrote him this stupid letter saying that she felt tied down and owned. It turns out that she was two-timing him with one of his good friends. He knows that she isn't worth gettin upset over but he's still not himself. How do I cheer him up, but still let him have some time to get over her?

Yell him that he deserves better. And she's still tied down if she's with another guy. He didn't ask to be cheated on and he didn't deserve to be. Also if she wasn't brave enough to break it off face-to-face she was a coward! Just let him think on that give him some time try to be nice to him!

if u have any girlfriends, introduce them to him. not too many though he may feel crowded. and ask him to hang out and ask him if its ok if u bring a friend. they will meet and maybe they'll like each other. And remind him everyonce in a while, she wasn't worth the trouble and its her whos missing out, not him

How old are you and your friend? If you are of age I'd have to say sex or a bj. That will cheer him up! But if not then just be his friend and be there to talk to.

Offer to go out and do some things with him. The best thing you can do is to just be there for him and listen to him.
