I am brunet, my boyfriend said that I am very hot as a brunet, but that he thinks that I would look even hotter as a blond. Would you try it if you were mw. Oh, and if money wasn't a question and you could go to the most eliet hair dressers. Would you...?

Firstly, if you are the adventurous type and would consider doing it for YOURSELF... then think about doing it for him. It might prove to be a real kick in the pants for both of you.

However, you BLEACH to a blonde and that can cook your hair big time! So you will also have to consider cutting most of your hair off if something goes wrong. Also if your hair is not healthy or it is already processed, you might choose not to do it anytime soon. It is a critical procedure for a brunette, so a reputable hair salon is an absolute must if you want it well done! "Elite" is bogus, get referrals from other well done blonds, because more expensive doesn't necessarily mean better.

If you think it is worth the risk, go for it. Sometimes other people are the catalyst for changes we choose, and there is nothing wrong with that as long as it is not against your better judgment.

Worthwhile options to consider are frosting the frame of your face to give the blond impression (because blond is really no better than any other color, just more hype!), or go to a wig shop for a foray in fantasy...then you can "test drive" the effects. (you don't have to buy a wig, just play with the color changes...on him too!) Extensions and add in hair pieces can be a fun accessory to consider also.

Remember though, your skin tone may not be complimented by blond. You could end up looking washed out and sickly. Also, there are many shades of blond that can come out so again a professional is advised. The color will also morph as time goes on so what looked good the first week or two can get downright tatty later on!

Once blond, the upkeep will be an expensive royal pain! It will also look bad as it gets old and grows out... if you don't care for it properly you may learn a hard lesson, so only do it if you are willing.

If you want to...have fun! I recommend you go play with wigs first though.

I'm a brunette too and I tried dying it red for laughs, but first they had to bleach it blond for the red to cover the dark brown. As a blond I was scary. I looked like death warmed over. It wasn't pretty. Then the red was a little extreme for my conservative look. My boyfriend was surprised and he was supportive, but when it finally grew out he admitted to liking the brown better. I say if you;re willing to try it, why not experiment? It's only hair. If you are strongly against it, then don't be pressured. Follow your heart. BTW I also had an EX who told me he never wanted me to cut my hair short, even though I disliked it long, needless to say that was an indicator we weren't meant to be. Mu hubby loves it short! Do what you want girl!

well the said thing is that i actually have tried that before but it actually turned out good because i really liked my hair blonde and have kept it that way ever since and im with a different guy now and its still blonde. but only try it if you want to and then if you dont like it then tell him your changing it back, but if you like it then keep it like that.
As for the hairplace to go to, I usually go to carlton, they are pretty good, kinda expensive but not too bad really.
but no matter what you do, just do what makes you happy and if you like it and it makes you look hot and he is all over you then its all good.

I did exactly the same thing when I was very young and naive. My boyfriend had complete control over me and kept asking to do things with my appearance: dye my hair blond, pierce my ears, wear highheels all the time etc. I hated most of it. It is fine if you enjoy it as well. If you feel it is a burden for you, don't do it just because of your boyfriend. If he cares about you, he wouldn't insist on anything, just suggest.

I would if i wanted to.. but not just because my boyfriend said i should try it. If he said it when u said "i want to dye my hair" its understandable. but if he said it out of a nowhere.. or right after seeing some blond girl/model/actress i think he might b trying to do something to be like someone else... so no if thats the case

i think of you may get grimy blonde. dark hair look effective on you yet while your roots enhance it does no longer be as noticeable with grimy blonde. attempt highlights first and see the way you like it. Eyebrows could get achieved too. The hair bleaching technique it a worry. yet confirm you quite need it

No, I would not color my hair because a man said i should do it. I would only do something like that because that is what i choose to do. I would be very leery of any man that would suggest that I change my appearance. That is really a big red flag in my opinion. He is trying to change who you are. That is not ok. Would he change his hair color to blond for you, or get his body waxed because you suggested it. Yes, it sounds ridiculous.

Simple you as a blonde is a fantasy for him, so if you want a really hot and sexy night do it and suprise him with it done. On the other hand if you're not that serious with that dudes hes trying to assert domiance of you.

Personally, Im a brunette too and I have always wanted my hair blonde. I would do it though because i really like the guy and i would do it and see how it fits me. If I didnt like it I would tell him he may like it blonde but its not your thing and you like being a brunette and dye it back. Or if you really dont want to dye it, Just explain to him how you feel about it.

No, I wouldn't dye my hair for him.

and instead of going to 'eliet' hair dressers, I'd go to a tutor and have them teach me how to spell "ELITE, BLONDE and BRUNETTE"

(spell check cleverly hidden in plain site on the top of this box)
