And I was wondering which part to print. The company that I bought them from said they would be e-tickets, but I'm not sure which part to print. Is it the itinerary?

Print the itinerary. Make sure that it contains the confirmation number or the record locator. It's usually a 6 digit number/letter combo. If you're unsure, print out everything. It doesnt hurt to have more rather than less.

There should be soemthing somewhere that says "print copy eticket" or whatever. If all else fails, print the itinerary. Technically, as long as you are sure the ticket is firm, all you need to do is turn up at the airport, present photo ID ( a passport is best if you have one) and they will then give your a boarding pass. An eticket has a long number the first three digits being the airline (001 is AA, 125 is BA, 932 Virgin, 220 Lufthansa etc) and then ten digits. It will also have the fare construction on it, something like BOS UA NYC UA CDG M2356.32 LH FRA M236.56 etc etc. It should also have baggage allowance etc. Do not panic, as I say, if you are sure it is booked, then the itinerary will do (which is for your own benefit so you know the times!)

The confirmation number or record locator, but it's not a big deal if you don't have it. Check with your specific airline to confirm their policy, but the gist of it is: if you check in at a self-check-in station (when I flew American the other day, that was the only option available for economy class), the machine will ask you to scan a credit card or one of a couple other pieces of ID to show who you are and look up your info (this is in addition to showing your gov't issued ID to a real person later). Then, you will have a couple of options to enter to find your itinerary: the record locator, arrival/departure airports, and something else.

If you want to check in online (you can do this like 24 hours in advance) or select your seat online etc, though, you either need to be registered on the website and login, or use your record locator number.

you can print the itinerary. make sure that the booking reference or record locator are there. show that printed itinerary when you check in at the airport together with your passport. the check in counter will give it back to you again plus the boarding pass.

Yes print the itinerary. When you check in at the airport with your ID, they print the boarding pass for you.

Yea, you should print the itinerary and look for the confirmation number. You can also log onto the airline website with your confirmation number and go ahead and choose your seat (most airlines).
