It has, and I have.

Evolution is becoming one more institutionalized religion with Dogma of its own and a closed mind. Look at the evidence for a creator using evolution as a tool. Your just to afraid to study that, The fact is with the study of DNA and the closer we get, using science, to the building blocks of life the closer we get to proving the existence of a creator. That really scares allot of people.Evolution is a great theory, evolution is obvious to people who study the evidence. However some have other agendas. I have never observed or can I believe that life in all its complexity even in the simplest form, just magically appeared DNA had to be engineered by a transcendental source.

I'D LIKE TO START WITH FIRST OFF, ALTHOUGH YOUR QUESTIONS KIND OF LASHES OUT AT PEOPLE, IT STILL SPARKS UP GOOD CONVERSATION. 2ND, THE GREAT PEN OF PEN AND TELLER PUT IT BEST, THE PEOPLE WHO ARE IN POSITIONS OF DESCISION MAKING AND THE PEOPLE WHO NEED TO BELIEVE IT, DO BELIEVE IN EVOLUTION, BOTTOM LINE. IT HAS BEEN PROVEN TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY AT LARGE, SO WHETHER YOU AND I BELIEVE IN EVOLUTION IS IRRELEVANT. YOU DEPEND ON SCIENCE AND THE SCIENTIFIC METHOD FOR JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING IN YOUR DAILY LIFE, BUT WHEN IT DOESN'T SUITE YOU, YOUR CIRCLE OF FRIENDS, YOUR BELIEFS, YOU CAST IT AWAY, SCOFFINGLY. JUST BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE ALL THE PIECES TO THE 100 BILLION SPECIES THAT HAVE WALKED THIS PLANET, (BEG YOUR PARDON) DOESN'T MEAN THE PROCESS CANNOT BE UNDERSTOOD AND DESCERNABLE TO HUMANITY AT LARGE. WE THOUGHT THE UNIVERSE REVOLVED AROUND THE SUN FOR THE LONGEST TIME TOO, UNTIL LEARNED SCIENTIFIC MEN SUCH AS COPERNICUS AND GALILEO TURNED THE WORLD ON IT'S HEAD WITH THE NOTION THAT THE UNIVERSE DID NOT REVOLVE AROUND EARTH. WHAT A SHOCK TO THE MOTHER CHURCH, THEY COULD HAVE SWORN..... ~SMILES~ IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND EVOLUTION, IT'S NOT SURPRISING, AS MOST PEOPLE DON'T, EVEN THE PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY UNDERSTAND IT, REALLY DON'T, BECAUSE IT TAKES A PRETTY LONG DRIVE TO GET TO THAT PERSPECTIVE OF THINKING. IT'S A HUGE ALL ENCOMPASSING PICTURE THAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT HERE AND WE'VE BARELY SCRATCHED THE SURFACE IN THE LAST 150-200 YEARS. JUST LIKE ANYTHING IN LIFE, IT TAKES TIME, STUDY AND MEDITATION, IN REFERENCE TO EVOLUTION AND HUMAN ORIGIN STUDIES (PALEO-ANTHROPOLOGY) TO ARRIVE AT A CLEAR IDEA AND UNTIL YOU'VE DONE THOSE THINGS, YOU CAN'T REALLY MAKE A JUDGEMENT EITHER WAY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME

First of all, what makes you think evolution and faith in God are mutually exclusive? My God is a god of the natural world as well as the god of the supernatural. However, I have read and studied Darwinian Macro evolution and found it quite lacking. Do you have the same level of courage to examine your faith in evolution and consider its flaws? Below is a link to a general refutation of macro evolution. If you are not lazy, if you have intellectual honesty and are not blinded by your faith, then I invite you to consider you might be wrong and read.

well if evolution is true why do we still have monkeys?when a species evolves the old passes away never to be seen again but to answer your question no my religion is not based on Creation or evolution because a day with the Lord is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day so He could have caused evolution to happen

HAHAHA! YOU challenge COURAGE! Open your eyes, man! Too many complex systems and mismatched DNA to be evolution. But YOU don't have the courage to listen. Look around. What came from what?
By the way,I gave your question a thumbs up. I don't want to discourage your curiosity.

Evolution can be proven?. Hm...Makes you wonder why its still scientifically called a theroy.
If religion was proven to your satisfaction, would you have the courage to leave behind the evolution theory?
Door swing both ways you know.

Evolution is proven. I, as a Christian, am well aware that God created an evolutionary universe, in spite of what bible thumpers may believe.

I should ask the same thing of you. Big 'E' Evolution is not science, it is religion. It takes more faith to believe in Evolution than that some being of intelligence designed this world.

How do you know? Are you too smug to think outside of your box, my dear?
Rats! I've already read through that stuff...didn't change a thing.
Suggestion: try to be a bit less confrontational, use fewer generalizations (I honestly know Christians who believe in evolution, I grant there aren't many, but they are there), and I hope you are contented with YOUR religious myth. ; )
