BUT WHY DO PEOPLE DYE THEiR HAiR GREEN&BLUE&GET TOO MANY PiERCiNGS&TATTOOS ? THAT DOESN`T MAKE SOMEONE A BETTER PERSON OR iT DOESN`T MAKE SOMEONE HAPPiER. iT LOOKS UGLY. WHY DON`T PEOPLE EXPRESS THEMSELVES iN A GOOD WAY ?

Beacuse they like to express themselves. Dying your hair or getting piercings can expess your creativity.
You might think its ugly, but that person might think its gorgeous, and if that person likes dyed hair and you dont, then there isnt anything you can do about it becuase this is their decision.
And by the way, you might want to type your words in lower case, when necessary, its kinda freaky to some people when you do it in capitol letters because it seems like you are shouting. Imagine someone shouting this question to you, not very pleasent is it? just a tip.

I have pink hair and a facial piercing and I'm hot! You said, "it's good to be yourself and have your own personality" and then you said, "why don't people express themselves in a good way" What I think you're implying is "why don't people express themselves in a way that I want them to"
Just because it's not what YOU want someone to do doesn't mean it's ugly or that the person has low self esteem or that they are unhappy. I'm hot, I'm happy, and I couldn't care less if you thought I wasn't, but you have to realize that people are different and if everyone was like you then this world would probably suck, because you think that you have to look one sort of way to be acceptable.
We're all different and that's why we all rock! So keep an open mind next time someone doesn't dress exactly like you or look exactly how you want them to look, then you can actually learn something about someone else, and not see them as just "different" or "ugly"

Expression comes in many different ways. That's what makes the world cool is all the different types of people.
While I'm not a big fan to tattoos and piercings I understand that some people like them. It's not about the outside, it's about the person inside.

of course its good to be your own person if you be your self people will respect you for your honesty, some people express themselves in ways we think are ugly but they think are a release. And sometimes it does make person happier, they feel different and to most people to stand out is a good thing. they think if they get a cool tattoo and maybe a few piercings it'll make people notice them.

Maybe they are being themselves.. its an attitude some people have that they aren't gonna care what other people thing about them, maybe they love to be different and dye their hair a different color every month.... and getting tattoos and piercings make them.... well them.... and when they get it done they don't think its ugly. I don't mean to criticize but some people just don't want to look like everyone else and this makes them happy.

I have no idea. I think people dye their hair or whatever because either they want a change, are crazy, or want to be unique or get attention. I totally agree w/ you. I mean why DO people do the things they do? Besides, why do people peirce their noses or tounges? I think that's digusting. There are a lot of weird people in the world. I have never considered dying my hair or peircing anywhere besides my ear lobes. I guess some people just can't accept the way they were born.

Because some parents don't look at their kids each morning .. when they leave the house... Its neat to have your own style... its fun to dress funky once in a while but pretty soon .. well you look like one of those earring trees your mom used to give you at Christmas... To some people that is style,.. To you and me its overdone.. but some of these folks are the trendbreakers...( the old people that look like this... ) Dont worry .. the style will fade and big hair and shoulder pads will comeback... ( LOL ) everyone likes their own style.. just make sure you check out your kids when they leave your house... someday...

because they like to be themselfs and have their own personality ..thats their way of expressing who they are ..it doesnt mean its a bad way ...it is like anything ..certain people find things ugly what certain find attractive ..each to their own ..i have tattoos and peircings ....for me ...and i have some very special friends who i have had for many years ..who never give them a second thought ...because ..they know me ...for who i am not my choice of self expression

it just depends on each person. everyone expresses themselves differently, and what might seem bad to you might not seem bad to them.
