How close are you to being 18? Right now at 17, by Law you are still under age, and he could get into trouble. The Law calls it Statutory Rape. At this point, just keep it as friends, nothing serious. He's a guy, he's not going to say anything about age, if he thinks he can have you. Continue to find out things about him as friends, the more you find out, the more you'll know when you are of legal (18) age.
By then, you might not even like him, it'll be someone else.

That is not a big age difference geez you are almost an adult by law so what is the big deal. There must be millions of people with a 6 year age difference between them. It is not like you are 14 and just a kid.

I think you should stay friends. In the state of Maryland, if your relationship gets to a physical point, he can be charged with rape of a minor, because you are under age. It would make no difference if you gave consent or not. It depends only on the age.

As a 17 year previous lady myself i does no longer see an argument with courting a 20 year previous - you're the two criminal, so what's the project? some each physique is extraordinary approximately age, yet it is barely some years so I say in case you quite like the guy in simple terms forget approximately approximately them. yet be careful - his buddies could make him sense uncomfortable with reference to the courting and he could get chilly feet.

Normally, I'd tell you to do what you think is right . Since you're not 18 yet I'd wait until you are and find out if he's willing to wait as well?

Sure, he could be interested, but that doesn't make it right. You're still not legal, after all. But I'm sure you can wait a while.
