It's all a mind thing. How you see yourself is how others are going to see you. Change your attitude from being shy to being outgoing.

You are probably too afraid of failure. Most people are and can syke themselves out, but the key is to realize that failing or not getting what you want like a girls number or a girl to talk to you is not the end of the world.
You don't need other people to decide who you are, you have to decide who you are without validation from other people.

Work out (it increases natural endorphin levels...which will in return make you feel better...and more confident) 2. Try focusing on something you are already good at....and master it. 3. BELIEVE and KNOW that most people are just as un-confident as you....FAKE IT 'TIL U MAKE IT. (You have to take action before your mind, esteem, and confidence will follow....Trust Me Just Try It.) If all these suggestions fail....ask specifics on how to perform the previous suggestions.

My confidence booster is that only god can judge me. That I am beautiful no matter what other people may think because I carry myself well, I have high standards, am sophisticated, and care about my appearnce but not to an obsessive extent.
All you have to do is believe that you're are worth it and other people will notice you.

Well one of my friends told me that dressing up helped him feel better about himself when he wanted to go out and meet girls and that he got a much better response than when he was wearing his normal street clothes. Not sure if this works or if it will help you but that is all I have sorry.

I say try acting normal around people, don't try being something you're not. If you're acting like something you're not, someone's gonna like you for what you're not. So just be normal, find people with a common interest.
But don't really listen to me unless you really, really want to.
