my parents are dead but i have brothers and sisters that i dont know but would like to meet them since they are all i have. But i dont have alot of information about them and i dont Know how i can find them or my foster care records. I really want to meet them.

know the first and last name of your brother and sister , then in the phonebook look up the number with the same last name and try whatevers there

My parents are foster carers and i have spoke about this exact question as my parents are adopting a little girl,you need to go to the social services they have a record which all departments keep hold of and you have a legal right to see and find the information.There may be letters and photo's with them if they have given the social services any for safe keep boxes that many people like to give the social services so that the child can see where they originally come from.

Did you contact the foster care agency and ask them for the names of your birth parents?
If you get the names of your birth parents, you can do a search for your siblings, unless it is a common last name.
You can search at Zabasearch.com (you need first/last names and city and state).

First never give up,there are ways threw the net,libaray, do you know where you and siblings were born,hospitals are sources of this kind of info,if they are also in foster care,then it may be hard but if adopted then i think you can find records or start,postin gin everythign you see on net,post names of those you are looking for,talk to a legal aide,dang i wish you luck ,i lost my oldest bro and i looked but never found,so good luck and don`t giv eup ,i haven`t

Oh boy, I would suggest calling a government hotline. And see what department you would call, and see if they have a number for a department that holds fostercare records. Then do it that way. Also when you call or get to the place that gives the records, ask how you would go about finding your family.

Hi I am a foster mom. Were you adopted? If so your adoptive parents should have all the past information on you and your birth family........Hope this helps

There are professionals that do this extremely well. You pay the Big $ and you are guaranteed to find them. Or no pay. You have to ask yourself what is it really worth to you. And if you paid it, did you consider the disappointments that may follow? Not everyone is an Anastasia.

Sweety, can't your social worker help you with this?
Try running a "DO YOU KNOW WHERE" here on this sight or any others you can think of.
IF you know their names, birthdays, your parents names, someone should be of some help.
