pink oil is supposed to help stop breakage I wouldnt suggest cutting it all off unless you like erykah badu's new look. Also you can continue taking your prenatal vitamins if you have any left over and then you could use pantene pro v for women of color for damaged hair.

I had breakage and my hair fell out on both sides around my edges after I had my son. This is totally normal. It happens because once you have the baby, you no longer have pregnancy hormones which stimulates growth in your hair, fingernails and toenails. You do not have to cut your hair. Just be patient and it'll end. It'll start growin back. I used pantene pro-v for damaged hair. It has kept my hair very healthy. I hope I've been of help for you.

It's totally normal. It's your hormones trying to get back in balance since having the baby. It may take a while, but don't worry about it. If you can, try to get some Kerastase Bain du Force Shampoo & Age Recharge Conditioner. These are the 2 best products I've ever experienced when it comes to weakened, breaking hair.

Also, take your vitamins, honey! :)

Try taking folic acid - if you took prenatal vitamins, you took fairly large doses of folic acid; when you stopped, (if you did) it changed the vitamin content of your system. You might want to condition more also. Hormonal changes from childbirth can play heck with both your hair and skin!
