The Bible specifies end times and we read in Revelations that there will be no rain during the first half of the 7 year tribulation. Some parts of the world are now having the worst droughts in recorded history and water shortage is now at a critical stage. Could this be setting the stage for the tribulation??

I dont know when Jesus is coming but I know I am ready. I feel in my spirit that it is not very long off. I really need to study up on the trumpet thing. I dont know what the first trumpet is. The last trump will sound before Jesus comes. I am ready. Are you?

I don't remember the Revelation of John saying there would be no rain for 3 and 1/2 years. All over the earth? I have read that book often, and I don't remember that. 1/3 of the trees and the green grass will burn, but as for no rain, I don't recall that.
But yes, I think that we should get ourselves prepared. Why do you think the rapture could happen at any second, though? The Bible says that Jesus will make his return when the last trumpet sounds, and that is at the end of the trumpet judgements. So we Christians will most likely go through at least part, if not all, of the tribulation. God protected Noah THROUGH the flood and FROM the flood, but He never yanked him off the earth and into heaven. God protected Lot from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, but He didn't whisk him away. There is precedent there, and that is significant.

The rapture won't happen until after the tribulation, but it will occur right before God's wrath is poured out on unbelievers. The first link below examines the rapture verse-by-verse from Scripture.

Well there are signs pointing to the ideal of a rapture but the word rapture is not found in the bible just the ideal of it . That Jesus is going to come back someday and take us all to heaven that is were the word rapture came from.

You'd never know it where I live. We're up to our collective keisters in snow melt-off and rain.

There's plenty of tribulation to go around and there always has been. Jesus said no one would know at what hour he was a'comin' back, so don't bother trying to puzzle it out. Do your best to make the earth a nicer place for as long as we get to be on it.

I believe the earth is currently going through the motions to get ready for the "rapture", (I'd call it the Second Coming) but it won't happen immediately soon.

I'd say we've got at least 15 years left.

Hope I helped, feel free to respond!

Which rapture?
Jesus never spoke about a rapture.
Also, Jesus said that no one will know the time of the end.
The world have always recycled itself; forget the rapture and go love God, Love each other and teach the truth.
Some Christians only preach doom.

There will be no rapture, mans end will be by his own hand brother against brother and father against sons, the fuse has been lit, and all hell is about to explode. It is religion that contains the main powder box.

I don't think it could happen any second. There are a number of signs which we are told will happen preceeding the rapture, not all these things have yet come to pass. Until more of them come to pass, I'm not yet worried. When it comes, it comes.
