I am jewish tell them that he is not that bad and tell them that there are worse things that he could be, like a satanist. But seriously you don't need them to get married. And if they don't help you then **** them.

let me tell u why, first of all there are a billion books out there about this subject go read one of them. second of all its gonna affect ur kids theyre gona think what am i? christian? jewish? do u really wanna do that to them? also, jews are a very small number compared to the rest of the world and if u want the religion to die out gd forbid then go ahead marry him. but if u actually care then don't do it and go with someone in ur own religion im telling u u'll be happier in the future. u dont know what a big sin it is for a jew to be married outside of their religion.

You can change you own religion b/c you're an adult. Go to the reference section on your Bible and look up marriage. Christians can marry believers and non-believers. You're parents won't be happy but it's not their life to live.

I don't reccomend that you do this becuase religion can be a very hard thing to deal with. But it is certainly not aginst the law. If you are both over 18, no one can stop you.

ok ur parents are not going to change but if u two love each other than some middle ground needs to be found. its hard enough between me and my fiancee. i am methodist and she is catholic. i can't imagine the difference in u two. don't listen to others. what do u two want? its up to u not them. make ur choice together alone. not with the family. they may be upset now but they will get over it. good luck.

It's just tradition, is all. If your parents are so worried about it, suggest getting married in an all-faiths chapel if neither of you wants to convert. If they really respect your relationship, they'll be up for it. I know my parents would NEVER let me marry a non-Jew, but luckily for all of us, I don't want to get married at all.
