it up to you.. if you call as soon as you get it that sends the message that your the type that would be in a rush... but if you also wait a day of so it's better off that way but then agian you might have to repeat yourself if you don't really know the person.... so take it one step at a time....

I suggest a hor or a day but if you say I will call their expecting your call so call soon.

that old rule doesn't really apply anymore. Call when you say you will and if you didn't say then call the next day.
