May Allah help me answer correctly If I answer wrong is out of my own ignorance if right by the grace of Allah. I am an ignorant convert so please bear with me as I am a really ignorant person !!!
1. Does the Quran mention slavery, and if so what does it say about it?
Yes, it does. It talks about the rights of slaves. It also promotes that people who have slaves set them free. It also promotes that if the person who owns a slave marries a slave then they should set that child of a slave free. The Quran revealed at the time knew that slavery was supposed to go away slowly thus it provided for the continous freeing of slaves but at a rate... not RIGHT away.
2. I have heard that Mohamad had a 12 year old wife, is that true and if so what are Islams current views of child molestation?
She must have been around 14 or so when their marriage was consumed... that is what some experts say (there is expeculation on weather she was 9, 12, or 14, so we do not know 100% for sure). But Virgin Mary was around 14 too when she had Jesus (PBUH)
Aisha is the name oof this lady was to become the greatest woman scholar in islam. She was so intelligent she absorbed everything and most of the knowledge we have today as far as wife and husband matters is due to her..... So I will say it was destiny..... Allah wanted it that way, without her teachings we would not know all that we know today! Also she was destined t teach other young men and women... as I said she was young and she far outlived the prophet she never married again and she was never seen in public without veil covering she never had children of her own/
Of course islam is against child molestation. At this time this practice of marrying young women was done so no one really said anything about it figure very low life expectancy in those days and young girls where developing younger (had their period early)
For example my mother's cousin married at 12 over 30 years ago and her husband was 33 and this was in the Topics Christian culture by the way.
3. What are the key diffrences between the bible and the quran?
The Quran has many of the same stories as the Bibl, but unlike the bible is not a collection of stories. It is actually God speaking in the first person. One minute you are reading about Jesus the next about Noah, the next about Jonah (so you need to really understand the orther of things) For god there is no time and place so God talks about things as he is making point and sites samples.... So if you do not know your bible LOL or Your Quran well you will be like say what??? you will not understand!
The Quran was revealed to us in Arabic, which is the language of our prophet Muhammad (PBUH), It has not been changed since his original revelation, and it has been memorized by millions upon millions upon millions of Muslims, So I have no doubt of its veracity and Authenticity. The Quran talks about God in the first person, The Quran talks about science, past, present, future, the Quran talks about women’s rights, gives details on prophets that are not even in the bible. For example, did you know that the Quran says exactly the words that Haciti Jonah said while inside of the “Big fish”. Did you know that there is a whole chapter dediated to Virgin Mary (PBUH)? Did you know that Jesus(PBUH) is mentioned by named more times than Haciti Muhammad (PBUH)? Did you know that the Phrases believing man and believing women in several verses of the whole Quran is mentioned the same exact amount of time? Did you know that the recent discovery of the body of the pharaoh that fought against Moses (PBUH) was in the Quran, hundreds of years before it happened? Did you know that the Quran talks about the separation of the Atlantic and Pacific seas that was just discovered during the 80s?…The Quran talks about the stages of formation of the embryo in the woman’s womb??? Shall I go on???? The Quran came in 23 years of revelation to prophet Muhammed and we even have prophet Muhammed’s teaching separate from the Quran (The word of God recited) , the collection of sayings and actions of the prophet we call it Sunnah (So we d o not mix the word of God with the action of the prophet).
(sorry do not mean to sound rude and you can email me any time whatsovever) :)

Ok, allow me to tackle each question seperatly and frankly;
1- Quran does mention slavery, it actually prohibits slavery. Islam banned slavery and this was a major thing during that period of time. Slavery was a wide spread practice and was not met well by society, but Islam banned it completely, so anything u hear about Mohamed having slaves etc is completely wrong.
2- True, Aisha was his wife at the age of 9 not 12. It is a long and very complicated story but to make it short. Aisha was adopted by Mohamed, but there is no adoption in Islam and since any girl/ woman can not simply live with a foreign man without him being a blood relative, the only way was through marriage. A bit complicated right? well, it is a fact, so it was not really a marriage that invloved sex etc. It was a legal way of adopting Aisha.
Another clarifications that I need to add here is that marriage during these times took place a lot earlier than nowadays. In ancient Rome, girls got married at the age of 8, Mary delivered Jesus at the age of 12. Life expectancy was extremely low, people did not live long and they simply married a lot younger. We tend to judge based on our modern day social norms.
3- 1 key and very important difference. According to the Bible Jesus is the son of god, Jesus was crucified and his pain would relieve that of man kind. Quran states the Jesus was a prophet and was not the son of god or god. Jesus according to Islam was crucified, but his sould was rescued by god before the crucifications and replaced by the soul of Judas.
Hope the above answers your questions, let me know if u need any clarifications.
Ciao

1) yes, The Quran mentions slavery, and it says that it's dead Wrong!
2) Mohammad (PBUH) actually had a *NINE* years old wife! Not 12! and HE DID NOT MOLEST HER!!!!!! Mohammad had many wives but he married NOT for pleasure, like some sick people think, with out even knowing! He married for various reason, and lots of times he did not want to get married, but he did because GOD COMMANDED HIM! A lot of the girls he married were poor and they needed protection, so he took them under his guidance! And there are many other reasons as well, but I don't have the patience to list them all.
Islam's current view of child molestation is: it's dead wrong and a great, great sin equal to murder!
3) Many key differences exist, but the main one is: the Bible had been altered to suit people's life style, but the Quran is the DIRECT revelation from GOD almighty, with not a SINGLE word changed!

Abraham had slaves, too. It was the culture of the era, and eras afterwards. Slaves were in the south of America, too. Do not fault Mohammad about that. There is still a huge slave trade, whether we like it or not.....of whites and blacks.
Aisha, his young wife-----again---you are trying to compare the culture of the time with today's ways. Cannot do. To seal contracts between tribes and families, marriage was often used. Aisha was grown before she went to consummate the marriage.
People just like to say bad things about him-out of prejudice or lack of knowledge.
Have you read the Bible? The Holy Scriptures tell the history of G-d and the children of Israel. Then, the inventors of a new religion wrote what they called the New Testament. The Qur'an tells of many things in these two books, and the inspirations of Mohammad.
It is hard to tell you much in such a small space. Go read it for yourself.

Everything you have asked about Islam and the Koran you can ask about the Christian Bible - and come up with the SAME answers.
Both religions condoned slavery, the abuse of women, the acceptance of despotism, and many other horrible position.
The only difference is that in Western countries most people consider the Bible something that was written by ignorant men 2,000 years ago that many many improvements have been made on. The Bible is full of errors and abuses.
So is the Koran. Unfortunately the majority of Muslims still are living in a Medeaval mindset and think the Koran is perfect.
Only the Christian fundamentalists in the Western countries think the Bible is prefect. They, like the Muslims, are wrong, and for the same reasons.

I'm just going to answer the first and second question for you.
Second question first. Aisha Bint Abu Bakr was in her late teens early twenties when her and the prophet married. Aisha bint Abu-Bakr is the top scholar on Islam and is regarded as one of the most eloquent and influential women in Human and Islamic History. Her memory was impressive and she was a very smart and articulate women. According to Islam and science a women becomes a women when she hits puberty. But usually Muslims go with their particular culture. And Muslims are upheld in the Holy Book to follow the law of the land. Marriage in Islam has to be a two party agreement, the men and women, it is against Islam for anyone to be married without consenting or wanting to.
Slavery in Islam
Pre-Islamic times, many Arabs had slaves. THe brilliance of the Quran is that the rites that Muslims perform obligates them to release slaves and not hold them against there will. It was made so that by the laws of Islam, people couldn't keep people as servants against their will. The slave, which were manly women were given rights to be free and get married. Again the genius of the Quran is that believers were advised to release slaves in so many instances that after about a few years, it would be impossible to keep a slave, but only servants like butlers and maids, and have sexual relationships with them.
here are the passages that gives slaves numerous oppurtunities to free themselves. I'm collecting them now:
[2:177] Righteousness is not turning your faces towards the east or the west. Righteous are those who believe in GOD, the Last Day, the angels, the scripture, and the prophets; and they give the money, cheerfully, to the relatives, the orphans, the needy, the traveling alien, the beggars, and to free the slaves; and they observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat); and they keep their word whenever they make a promise; and they steadfastly persevere in the face of persecution, hardship, and war. These are the truthful; these are the righteous.
5:89] GOD does not hold you responsible for the mere utterance of oaths; He holds you responsible for your actual intentions. If you violate an oath, you shall atone by feeding ten poor people from the same food you offer to your own family, or clothing them, or by freeing a slave. If you cannot afford this, then you shall fast three days. This is the atonement for violating the oaths that you swore to keep. You shall fulfill your oaths. GOD thus explains His revelations to you, that you may be appreciative.
[9:60] Charities shall go to the poor, the needy, the workers who collect them, the new converts, to free the slaves, to those burdened by sudden expenses, in the cause of GOD, and to the traveling alien. Such is GOD's commandment. GOD is Omniscient, Most Wise.
[24:33] Those who cannot afford to get married shall maintain morality until GOD provides for them from His grace. Those among your servants who wish to be freed in order to marry, you shall grant them their wish, once you realize that they are honest. And give them from GOD's money that He has bestowed upon you. You shall not force your girls to commit prostitution, seeking the materials of this world, if they wish to be chaste. If anyone forces them, then GOD, seeing that they are forced, is Forgiver, Merciful.
So 1 and 2
2.) Muhammad didn't have sex with a nine or twelve year old, she was in her late teens early twenties. She was turned down once for marriage before by another Arab.
1.) Releasing Slaves was an act of charity and was an advisary to Muslims

whats with that persecution complex? i routinely step in sometimes simply because there are no voices in support of islam in that particular section of the internet, that said, islam has many violent adherants and to absolve responsibility of the thousands of people encouraged by islam to take up violence is quite weak. if the truth suffered, cancerous children must know everything. 911 isnt the only attack thats been perpetuated recently.

You know there are so many people asking the same questions about islam and there are so many of us now who know exactly what the muslims are doing to the rest of the world.
Yet where is the action to punish criminals? There is very little about their accountability in the news.
Even they them selves are still to accept they are criminals of the highest rank.
I was raped by muslims all my life. I am still being tortured at every incident
So I wonder if the world intends to carry on in this manner or ask the muslims to start being punished for killing so many people in the world and stealing their property.
It is not only christianity that is important.
They have killed one billion hindus. One billion people.

Again, the Osama Momma pajama boy, mythkiller-zuba has delighted us with his a-rab crap. He would never know the truth if it slapped his little ugly face. As for moleharmid, he did sleep with twelve year old girls. Molesting children is against every law in the world except islam. Maybe this Osama Momma pajama boy likes little girls, since the 5000 a-rab thieves packed him, creating a stand-up comic. An American favorite is "Your Cheating Heart." As for the mythkiller-zuba Osama Momma boy, he sings "My bleeding part"

Yes, the quran mentions slavery, Mohammed had quite a few himself.
mohammed married the girl aisha at the age of 6, but says he didn't have sex with her until she was 9( and I understand pigs are flying , too)
the key difference between the quran and the bible is tht the bible says to love your enemy, and accept him, the quran says everyone who isn't muslim is your enemy and you are to convert him, then if he refuses, lay in wait and kill him and torture his wife and children and make slaves of them
