I'm 19 years old and I'm so scared of getting old and wrinkled. I know about not smoking and staying out of the sun blah blah blah. Which I don't do. But is there any cream I can use to prevent wrinkles when I'm 40?

Nope.
You will be getting wrinkles within the next few years, nevermind when you're 40.

Eat well..don't wear too much makeup, definitely don't sleep it in. Put the least amount of soaps and chemicals on your face as possible. Avoid extremes of temperatues, too dry (central heating=bad) too hot (long showers=bad) scrubbing your face too hard when you wash. Bad.

Common sense really.

Maybe some fancy expensive creams like those with peptides. Look it up online and see which ones are for real and within your budget. Don't use the creams off the high street that is no good.
Try getting facials as often as you can. They suggest 1 per month.
Basically if you want good skin you won't get it for £2.99 a month and you spend that much you'll look like everyone else who is using the same creams from Boots or whatever, and that is that they all have the same aged skin.

Internal and external skin ageing occurs due to a slowing down of collagen formation. Internal ageing is also referred to as intrinsic ageing and external ageing is extrinsic. This begins while we are in our twenties. Initially it is not noticeable as it takes place at a microscopic level. Internal ageing is characterized by wrinkles, dry skin, less sweat, brittle nails, less sweat, gray hair and balding. External ageing occurs due to environmental factors such as stress, smoking, ultraviolet rays. Repetitive expressions on the face and a faulty sleeping position too are major factors, which lead to us becoming old ahead of time. A major contributor to skin problems is the destruction of the ozone layer, which leads to us being affected by the sun's harmful rays. This can be remedied by using creams and lotions containing sunscreen with adequate protection. Smokers, while even in their twenties, can show signs of ageing like wrinkled skin, etc. The skin on the neck and the face too appears as though it is leather.

Well I don't know of any "magic" cream but (assuming your a girl), I started putting eye cream under my eyes at night at 25 and 10 yrs later, I look 22. Under the eyes is usually the first signs of aging so prevention is the key. Really.

Dont stay out of the sun, it's good for your body. Wear an spf 15 or greater, drink lots of water and get enough sleep. When your 40 you will be glad I passed this on to you.

I am 54 but many tell me I look ten years younger. I don't use a lot of makeup. I keep my face clean and use some vitamin E cream to moisturize a few times a week.

Use sunscreen with titanium dioxide, or avobenzone. Avobenzone is good for oily skin, titanium dioxide for dry.
