my dog has ticks and he slept in my bed all summer when i came home the ticks were in my bed and i need a way to get them off of me.

in additon to shaving it all bare you need to wash everything in really hot water and use the hottest cycle your dryer has. If you have any stuffed toys or whatever bag them up in garbage bags and leave them in the basement for thirty days to kill the bugs.

Ticks are not lice, but same thing each way, go to the drug store and get a bottle of the special insecticide shampoo for them, follow the instructions. Clean the bed and get a tick treatment for your dog. Then go to the doctor and tell him about it because ticks can carry Lyme disease which causes a form of arthritis and heart problems but is treatable with antibiotics. Good luck.

If youre hesitant to shave then you need to get a good lotion from the clinic. Also, make sure you wash your dog and take care of him. I know there are many anti ticks and lice shampoo for dogs.

If they are actually ticks, you should be able to just pick them off. Pubic lice are not ticks. Dogs do not have pubic lice.

ticks and lice are 2 different things, if u have ticks u need to go to the dr they could be in your skin...and u can get diseases from them...that is if you are not making this up (I KNOW U ARE)

Well when the planned parenthood people came last year they said to get rid of it from your clothes is to put them in a plastic garbage bag in an empty space for a week or two. Then wash them really good. You do this because they won't have any flesh and will die.
I forgot how they said to get rid of it from your skin.

shave everything off, that is the only way to make sure "for sure" that they are gone!!! I shave anyway so I don't have to worry about that, but I feel soooo bad for you! those little bitty bugs crawling inside and outside of your short and curlies.........yuck not to mention itchy and irritating, do yourself a favor right now and go get a Mach 3 razor and shave that all off, do it in the shower the they drown right away and go down the drain. good luck!

It is crabs not lice and camfofenike will do the job. Put all over the area.
