There's so many acne medicines. Check in your local convenience stores for Pro-activ, Clearasil, etc.

It might be a bit better to go to a dermatologist, though, because then you get a prescription specifically for your skin.

And if you want something cheap, use toothpaste. It works, seriously.

And to prevent acne, don't touch your face too much (dirt from your hands get on your face).

well I have been using pro active for about a month now and I can see a huge difference, so I think that would be a great start. Also try to not touch your face as much, keep your hands and face clean. Try not to "bust" your bumps, because thats not helping your inner face. My last thought that you should use is if a guy dont want you with everything that God gave you...you dont need him. I have had acne since third grade and I have been dating the same guy since grade school and we are about to get married. I'm using pro active for me not to make him happy. PLEASE feel beautiful inside before working on that outside you will feel so much better! Hope that helps and I hope your face clears up!

OK lets be real, acne's a b**** and it's the worst thing to get over but its not impossible. The best thing out there for it right now is Acutane, but, it is not for everyone that's why it is only obtained by a Dr's prespription. Some people tend to be allergic to the medicine, for a few percentage it does not work for, but usually it does, for everyone, even though after you stop using it the acne comes back, like with every other medicine after the treatment is over. It is really harsh on your body though, for women they can't take contraceptives or have kids due to some serious problems that can occur while taking it, other people experience horrible peeling and dryness.

Apart from all this, i used to have acne, apparently not bad enough for Acutane (according to my dermatologist) but it was still bad (at least i thought it was), so i was recommended this over the counter medicine called "Nature's Cure". They have two medicines, one formulated for men, and another for women, and among these they have the topical creams and face washes as well as pills that work from the inside out. I personally tried the cream and face wash. Since i started using it i have yet gotten another pimple, seriously, my face is progressing miraculously, alot of the blemishes are gone, almost all. Smooth skin, it does dry it a little bit but barely, everyone's complimented on it. A few more weeks and my face will be completely clear. To help with this i also get facials done, everyonce in a while to help with the deep cleaning, which helps alot to remove stubborn clogs and blackheads and so forth.

I know not all of these over the counter medicines work for everyone, like myself that i've tried Proactive and Murad and all those things and i actually got my face worse due to them. But this one worked, see if you can find it in a neighborhood pharmacy or drugstore, or supermarket (which some of them also sell them), or online in their website.

About a diet, the main cause of acne is not your diet, eating chocolate or drinking too much soda, it's an old wife's tale, BUT a good diet will prevent excess oils in the skin which will clog pores and cause breakouts.

The main cause of acne are your body's hormones, we can't fix those with a change in diet. For me i go to the gym about 5 days a week, and excercise, this helps your metabolism break fatty acids that may affect your hormone production, as well as providing an overall well being for the body and get you nice and fit, a little blood to the old pump is sometimes the best remedy for current health problems as well as future undeveloped ones.

Stress is another factor that people a lot of the time don't consider, it does affect your acne because too much stress will trigger hormone production in the body and well you know the rest. Try to take life easily, i know sometimes it's hard but you gotta try, for my stress, excercise wipes it all out, and it usually does for a lot of people so think about it.

Well i hope this helps you and good luck with what ever you end up trying.

Dr. Murad’s Acne Complex says that 3 simple steps, 2 times a day can reduce and clear your skin in 4 weeks. Seeing the popularity of Acne Complex one can understand that Acne Complex is certainly effective.

In the Acne Complex kit there are 3 items. A Clarifying Cleanser, an Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel and a Skin Perfecting Lotion. The direction of use is given in the Acne Complex kit. Otherwise you can learn it on the website of Acne Complex. You can even order Acne Complex from their website too.

Hi some helpful hints, don't touch your face with your hands. Wash your face with a cleanser like Cetaphil, it will balance your ph. This is what dermatologists recommend. For a single breakout buy a travel size tube of regular tooth paste and put a small dot on the pimple and it usually will dry it up overnight, it its a big one it may need 2 nights. Good luck. r.n.

I think you should use proactive.
Whatever you do, don't pop them or anything. But I think the zits will dissapear because I think this all has to do with puberty. You're probably going through puberty, don't worry you're face will clear up. Everyone goes through it.

-Hope I've Been A Great Help!

i had the same problem!

SOLUTION: a dermatologist. they can be a little pricy, but they're very worth it.

when you visit the face doctor, s/he can tell you the best solution for your type of acne. people may tell you to use certain home remedies or over-the-counter stuff that may have worked for them. but remember EVERY ONE IS DIFFERENT. i tried some things that helped for my friends- clearasil, proactiv, acne free, you name it I"VE TRIED IT! you really must visit the face doctor to clear it once and for all.

my personal experience with the doctor was amazing. she knew exactly what would help. i visited the doctor on the 11th of july, and by the 8th of august i had clear, smooth skin-just in time for the first day of school!

because you're 14, you probably have a better chance of recovering quickly. also, because i would pop my pimples, it left brown spots on my face that im STILL trying to address.

im telling you GO TO THE FACE DOCTOR! it' s usually covered by insurance, so check your policy. but, if not, i promise you it is worth every penny!!!!!

You dont want to use strong products because they are bad for your skin in the long run... most of those products you buy in the stores have chemicals in them which are partically burning the dirt off your face... i recommend tahitian noni face wash and face lotion.. it will even out your tone.. and clear up acne! it also help you skin stay healthy and so your pores remain small and so you will have to apply less make up. .. hope this helps.. check out all the products at www.tni.com/zmwright

pimples is to do with greater suitable male hormone / testosterone (T) tiers inflicting over energetic oil / sebum production & zits while the floor pores clog up with the secretions and inflammation instruments in (linked with puberty and so on.). Topical creams and so on. in basic terms artwork to objective to enable the pores to proceed to be sparkling, letting the oil out, no longer effectual in case your pimples is something different than easy. in case your pimples is quite undesirable you need to flow and see your scientific expert in case you opt for to keep away from everlasting scarring as he can prescribe effectual scientific care. in case your a guy you do no longer decide for to dam the "T" because it has a significant bring about masculinization & libido .... so which you go onto antibiotics (e.g. Tetracyclenes) which calm the inflammation and an infection that carry approximately spots, mixed perhaps with a short path of the truly aggressive Roaccutane which stops sebum production ineffective. Your scientific expert will understand the final meds to prescribe. in case your a woman the the "miracle treatment" is a gentle anti-anrdogen like Spironolactone which truly tackles the subject at "root" with the help of reducing testosterone to end intense oil / sebum production (customary / dry hair and skin interior some days !) .... stops pimples ineffective .... Its a great fable that weight-reduction plan / hydration / insufficient cleansing has any result on pimples .... all of the astringent creams do is dry the spots out. no longer a solid long term answer.
