I need help! We know we like each other. And there is a rumor he is going to ask me out, but he is kinda shy. How can I tell him I like him? 7th grade.

If you two like each other and he is shy, he probably not going to tell you unless he feels like he has absolutely nothing to lose. I suggest to have a nice long conversation with each other and touch on the subject every now and then. Sooner or later just flat out tell him.

I wish I knew then what I know now, I'm sure you'll hear that saying a lot in you life. I'd say the best way to get thru those situations at your age would be to change your whole outlook on the subject of boyfriends, mainly because guys see things one way and girls see them another. Now I still think the experience is a necessary part of life. I dont really know how to say this but basically theres no point in putting your heart and soul into your feeling for this person just try to have fun knowing this will probably never last past 7 months of your life and when your older you'll be lucky to even remember his name basically I'm trying to say everything is what you make it, you know life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. By the way boys are definately atleast 4 years less mature then a girl his own age anyway and you wont be old enough to date older guys for awhile so just have fun.

You should just talk to him and give him casual signs. Don't look like a stalker but like look at him and then smile and look away... You know, that flirty stuff. and when you talk, lightly touch his arm here and there... Give him signs, and if they don't work, you can always wait for a week or so to see if he asks you out. If not, then just tell him you heard rumors that he liked you and ask him if it's true. A little communication goes a long way!!

If you're SURE he likes you, don't be shy. just tell him. if you don't like confronting people, send him an email. if youre worried about sounding lame, and just saying "i like you" doesnt do it for you, be clever. mention the fact that you know he likes you. if you dont have his email address, you can get a friend to go up to him and say something for you. that worked for me all through middle school. and if he's shy and doesnt ask you out, bu you know he really wants to, you make the first move and ask him.
