Everyday in a particular place in our show during marching band rehearsal, the guy I like is in the line in front of me and they do a visual where they turn around slowly and I stay facing forward. everytime he turns around, he always looks right at me and holds my gaze all the way until he is facing front again. most of the time he will smile softly and it makes me so happy. he always does it. Ive liked him for a while, and marching band is the only time i see him because he is in none of my classes this year. Does he like me? please serious answers only, hes shy and i just dont know how shy guys act to the girls they like.

From what you are saying it sounds like he is into you. Looking directly into a person's eyes is a very inimate thing; if you notice most people shy away from looking right at you. And the smile is a really nice touch. My advice, next time he does this give him a really big smile back and after rehearsal walk up to him and talk. If he is shy than its up to you to make the first move. In his mind looking at you and smiling was his first move. =o)

Speaking as a former shy guy myself, his smile could just be his way of saying hi without having to actually say hi to you or anyone. that's how general it could be or it could be his way of starting up a conversation with you. The only way you'll find out is just to say something to him, or as hard as it seems come right-out and ask him. If shy guy's think alike he like that you asked.

He probably likes you hun, if he'sa lookin. ;) You should maybe try talking to him, see his intrests and stuff. You get him alone, and then shy people usually feel less shy. So maybe if he's walking in a hall partiatly alone.. go say hi.

He just might! That is what a lot of them do when they like a girl. Or he could just be trying to be friendly. But it sounds like he likes you. :)
