The common citizen is more addicted to oil, the junkies the drugs, so that pretty much covers the entire nation.

I think addicted to oil is a misconception. We depend on it too much is more like the phrase. It's not hardly even our fault that we the people are addicted.

The combustion engine is outdated by 50 years. The technology is there. we just have to advance. The problem is is that the companies that are making big bucks off of oil and cars both like making money too much so now nobody wants to build something that theyll make thousands of dollars less on.

I think the united states produces internally enough illegal drugs lol.

Why is President Bush part of the problem? He has consistently pressed for more American oil independence. The biggest barriers to development of ethanol fuel in America right now are the east and west coast states, which consistently vote Democrat. The liberals also oppose additional production in Alaska, and will probably force delays in the Gulf of Mexico until Cuba and China take the lead there.

I think so, but maybe not for long if the price of crude does'nt start to drop. When Clinton was in office I remember a gallon of regular was not over $2 a gallon talk about getting it in the *** from Bush and his good ole Honky friends.

More Americans are addicted to foreign oil.

Those who are addicted to foreign illegal drugs are more addicted to those, however.

However, that is what ethanol and methadone are for....
