You know, you are a kid and you think "when I am big I will do things my way" and then you get to be big and you have to work to have the money to do things your way. Then you get married - now your spouse and your boss influence how you do things. Then you start to work for yourself and you realize that your customers and the calendar dictate what you do. Then you have kids and you realize that the kids are actually the bosses - made even more evident by the fact that by now our parents are elderly and we are making decisions for them too.

So, I guess the ironic realization that kids really run the world was a great lesson. But the greatest lesson I learned all on my own and was confirmed by Louise Hay and some great fiction writers, really.

The most important thing that I have learned is that I (me in my own mind) am creating my own existence on a daily basis - and so is everyone else. We are all seeing the same things, only through differently perspectives - and we are all right for that is the truth of our individual existence. It's a marvellous system here. It's fascinating, freeing, empowering - it's a wonderful thing.

Peace!

I would have to say the greatest lesson I ever learned was that my parents were not the ignoramuses I thought they were when I was younger, and are in fact my very closest friends now! I thank God for them every day!

The greatest lesson I have ever learned is that the only true universal law is love. I learned this through studying many different theological points of view and through the grace of many patient friends and proffessors as well as the love of my lord and lady. Through my study I found that the only true theme in each religion is love, weather it is love of ourselves or others, it is always there. Even in my religion where my god was given entire villages in sacrafice, it states that Odin is the all father and he loves his children.

That our thoughts create our reality....whether we agree with it or not
The path to understanding this started many years ago but I really got it when I discovered the movie "What the Bleep do we know?" about 2 years ago It's all about Quantum Physics and Quantum Superposition theory...... I highly reccomend it for anyone looking for answers as to why their life has made them feel like the victim of circumstance...

When my stepfather died, I thought I had time to see him. I didn't realize how sick he was, and he died the night before I was leaving to go visit him (he lived 4 hours away). I learned then that you never know how much time you have, so love the people in your life, never wait, tell people you love them, and have no regrets. It was the hardest lesson I have ever had to learn.

I think the greatest lesson I've learned was to tell the truth. If you tell the truth no one can Question your honesty.... This is taught to me at a young age by my parents and later taught in the Bible.

An English professor of mine once said, "Try to learn something new from everyone you meet in a day. It doesn't matter what it is, just keep learning."

i learned that if you ask god to take care of something for you and you really pray on it you better set back and let him do it. but hold on because things may happen in the process that you dont like but in the end you will see how he took care of it.he may have to do things that you would have never done, but you ask him so he will do it the way that he has too. MY GOD IS A AWESOME GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
