Bangs? Yes, no, maybe so??

Question

I have dark brown hair that is past the shoulder and i was thinking about geting side swept bangs. I have a square shape face and HUGE eyes. do you think that this is a good idea? and what kind and length (pictures and websites please;] ) thankkks

Hi, your request reminded me of Mischa Barton, so thought that I would post a picture of her...with sideswept bangs. It looks pretty nice, and looks like you could sweep them away from your face rather easily if you didn't want them around. Good luck!

I don't recommend bangs. I got some cut once because I was tired of my hair and they were awful. They took a lot of time to style because they didn't want to lay down. But if you do decide to go for bangs go a little longer because you can always go shorter later. Here is a pic you might like.

i hav brown hair 2, although it ain't that dark. i got bangs and they're cool, but if u hav curlier hair they're a pain. u hav to stlye them constantly and when they start to grew out they flop in ur face so u look like a shaggy dog (i have side swept bangs now because my bangs grew to long so i hav to push them over to the side). i recomend that u not get ur bangs any shorter than the tops of ur eye brows.

I think that bangs would work well if you have a square face it will make it less square.

Get an angle cut on your bangs. Just tell the person you get your hair cut by and they should know what you mean.

Sounds like it would work. Do you think you resemble Nicole Richies facial shape in any way? If you do she has had sweep bangs and they worked for her.
