Ok... so this guy, one of my friends exs. im talking to him online right now. and we joke around alot, and him and one of his friends have taken to using all the cheezyyy lines that can on me. and the were joking at first, but now one of them is like, i love you. like, no line attached. you think hes joking? i sure hope he is...

turns out he wasnt joking and he just asked me out ( i said no)

Your gonna have to feel that one out a little more girlfriend, How close are the two of u is the real question, How much time do u spend together? Does he call u alot? Does he respect the things u do? If the answer is alot, and yes I would probly think yes then he does love you

Yea, I'm sure they are. I mean, if you weren't his ex's friend he might not be, but guys (and girls) always tend to flirt with the boyfriend/girlfriend's best friend. It's just a matter of nature. Plus, teenage guys (and I'm assuming you're a teenager, sorry if I'm wrong) say 'I love you' all the time and rarely mean it. I also makes it that much easier to say it via instant messaging.

If you know this guy i would tell him that you want ot know if he is kidding around or something because you don't think it's funny. tell him back i love you and then tell him your kidding. Then he'll know what you felt. From there you can go on to explain that you don't like it when he kids around. If he tell syou he isn't kidding, tell him the internet is not a very nice way to tell someone "I Love YOu" just try your best to get your point to his brain.

honestly as a guy, i would say if hes whats considered the back up guy (wing man) or was in school not that popular or kinda dorky in some way then yes he thinks hes in love with you. On the other hand if he was the kool kid then he's ******* with you because it helps his ego.
