Are they just whistling for the fun of it
or
Are they trying to be sarcastic in a subtle way like they see you as a failure or something
Pls answer this its always bugging me

=I have noticed that a lot of men in the trades either whistle at the girls, or they whistle to pass the time while they work and it makes them happy and most others enjoy it as well. Not all people can whistle ya know. Thus the song......."Whistle While You Work."...................Have a great weekend.

I am one of those annoying people who is always whistling. I am also one of those people who always has music on if I have any say in the matter. I don't do it to annoy poeple I just like having a tune. If someone points it out to me, because sometimes I do it without realizing I am, I just say it's just a habit and I ask if it bothers them. If it does I try not to but sometimes I forget cause it is a habit.

The only time I whistle is for my dog to come in, and to catch a cab.
Some people do it because they enjoy it like singing. And a man at the office does it when he makes a mistake and then he whistles and shakes his head.

I whistle when im focused in a project in school, (drawing, sewing, patternmaking...) sometimes everyone is so focused on their stuff the class gets too quiet...and I start whistling songs...jeje

I think ppl do it for different reasons. It can be a habit. It can be cuz theyre happy. Sometimes maybe ppl DO do it, cuz they want to irritate others, but I dont think so. Unless they are just rude.
