you are where I was I was 105 pounds before I got pregnant and on my 9th month I was 185. then afterward I stayed at 165 (around there)
Yes, it is depressing I know. I had two children and always ended up bigger. I had two and I started having children younger than you. until recently I lost ALOT of wieght.
Here is what I did. cut all sugary foods drinking diet soda, put sugar sub. in my coffee, drink water..ate chicken instead of beef and ate more veggies. Do not finish everything on your plate leaving a bit of food on your plate is ok. dont feel obligated to eat it all. No fast food, dont eat fries chips, candy, etc. Cut salt also not all of it just think about your intake. It you have to eat out pick the salad instead..Also get woman's vitiams to help with your body.. I would say that is about $19.95 at the GNC store.
Just by doing those things, I went from 165 to 130 in about 6 months or less (still loosing). dress sizes so you can figure it out size 16 to a size 4/5 and going down still...
Cheap and easy....

As a new mom myself I completely understand the frustration you're feeling with the extra weight gained during pregnancy. It is tempting to want to do something drastic in order to get the 'quick' results... but this approach is unhealthy and will not yield lasting results. Your goal should be to lose no more than 2 pounds per week ... if you're breastfeeding then taking the weight off should be much easier. If you're not breastfeeding just walk daily for a minimum of 30 minutes (at a fast enough pace to get your heart rate up a little) and cut back on the amount of carbs you eat (avoid excess breads... cakes, cookies, etc.) Just remember everything in moderation. It's not easy. I lost 50 lbs. once and it took almost a year (allowing myself to cheat and eat some ice cream every once in a while) to get the weight off.
Best wishes.

Not sure when you had the baby, but breastfeeding helps burn tons of calories. Just watch what you eat and make sure you exercise enough each day. Buy a jogging stroller, that way you can run while the baby gets to go for a ride. There is no "quick" way to lose the weight though. Remember, you body changes alot after you've had a baby. Give it at least a year before it returns to normal (or as close to normal as you can get).

Ouch, should have ate properly during pregnancy. Ah well, go on a diet of about 1200 calories per day (it's not that little and you can have light snacks + meals) also, drink more water and excercise at least 30 minutes per day. Once you have lost the weight stay healthy or you'll become fat again.

Losing weight quickly is not good for you! If you lose it slowly and the right way, it increases your chances of keeping it off!
I recommend Body for Life. My husband and I have been doing it for about a month, and after trying all sorts of different ways to loose weight i have found this one to be the easiest to follow!
Loosing weight consists of a combination of eatting healthy and exercise! Body for Life includes both of those! They do have supplements you can buy, but we havent! You can still get results without them!
I hope this helps! Good Luck!

Your trying to hard. The best thing you can do is excercise but ultimatly its very hard to get back to your old weight so I say instead of changing you except yourself and find a man who will except you

get up and do something. you can't expect to lose weight and be a couch potato. *suggestion* - dance to your favorite music videos, or jog, or even just walk places instead of driving it really does pay off.
