Obsessive Compulsive disorder is the culmination of all the anxiety disorders. For someone with this disorder it is not uncommon to experience SEVERE generalized anxiety, recurrent panic attacks, debilitating aoidance, and major depression, all possible occuring simultaneusly with other OCD symptoms. Do you have thoughts, images, or impulses that you attempt to completely avoid (example, do you clean your room to avoid scorn by a room mate?). Obsession - intrusive and mostly nonsensical thoughts, images, or urges that an individual tries to resist. Compulsions - thoughts or actions used to suppress obsessions (counting) and provide relief.
I pulled that out of my abnormal psychology book. I hope it helps. And if this does sound like you, don't worry. There are many ways to help, and it sounds like you are doing alright anyways.

It could definitely be Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. If it is really causing you this much anxiety and causing you to miss out or is someother way miss out on life then you should seek professional help.
You sound like you'd fit the DSM criteria for the disorder however, you shouldn't take that as a sign that you have this disorder.
My advice to you is to talk with your parents about what you feel might be a serious problem.
Afterwards you should seek help from a psychologist and do not be afraid to discuss with him/her the problems you are having, how these problem effect your everyday life, and the degree of distress and anxiety you have because of them.
Remember only a professional can diagnose you with any kind of disorder. If you do have OCD, there are treatments and therapies that can help, from medication to counseling.

This could be OCD, but it doesn't really matter what it is. It sounds like there are things going on in your life that are interfering with your pursuit of happiness. I know that this sounds redundant, but PLEASE go talk to a trusted adult - teacher, relative, clergy, school counselor. In some states, teens can go to community mental health centers without their parents knowledge, but your parents really should be in on this problem. I know that parents can seem like the enemy lacking any understanding, but most of the time, parents are your best allies. There is also a natonal teen hotline that might be able to guide you . The number is 1-800-999-9999 Good Luck, sweetheart.

It sounds a bit like paranoia and something like OCD, yes, although you are probably overreacting slightly. If it gets worse or you need confirmation of what it really is from someone who is trained to recognize those problems, go to the doctor.

I think that could be OCD, I used to count things all the time when I was little, (not really count, but go 1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4....) but not so much any more. Don't worry too much about it, but if you have an OBSESSION with cleanliness, you may want to see a doctor.
