Please don't offer any religious text (ie. the Bible, the Quran etc) as your answer.

As a writer I am wondering what fictional books people have enjoyed. Thank you for your honest answers.

Since I was a child ( a long looong time ago) I've always adored the Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis. I never thought of them as 'religious" until I was older. I love Aslan and I try to keep my faith as that of a child's. It's amazing what you see sometimes when looking at life like a child. Blessings.

I really enjoyed reading the Celestine Prophecy series. I took away a lot of good thoughts and ideas to incorporate into my life. I think that is when a book is the best, when it actually changes you for the better.

Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse

Reading this book changed my life. It is such an easy read, a 12 yr old could read it, yet the message it contains is so deep.
