Last week I paid a 1000 deposit for a car, I was suppose to wait a week. So the week passed and the dealer calls me that its going to be an additional 3 more weeks. I paid the deposite to get my car this weekend, not in a month. Can I get my deposit back so i can go somewhere else.

Yes you can get the money back. But remember this if that dealership is having problems getting that car from the manufacture then any other dealer is going to have the same problem. All dealerships will try and dealer trade for a car before they go and order a new one, so more then likely there aren't any in your area or surrounding area.

If you signed a purchase contract or agreement, and there is no specified date of delivery, you may be out of luck. Check it out.
