What causes one to react with bitterness to a post that was intended to brightern their day or show someones care?

They may not be in the space to accept your love. Try to remember that it isn't personal and continue with being the best person you can be. When you spread love you light up the world.

They are hurting and want to lash out and hurt other people.

people cannot understand something that they havent been taught and what they dont understand ... they fear
