Well, is there a United Way in Las Vegas?

I ask this because the United Way serves a lot of social agencies. The staff at UW may be able to direct you to the agencies that need help and are willing to take on someone who is doing court ordered community service.

Examples: Nursing homes, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Red Cross,
Society for the Blind, Handicapped Services, etc.

Any social service such as the United Way can lead you in the right direction. Community centers for the elderly, hospices, depends on what kind of people skills you have.
Office work, filing, etc, also counts if you do it for a qualified non-profit organization. Answering phones for such an agency as well.

any non profit agency--do an internet phone search and start calling places and ask them if hours you work there will count towards community service. Foodbanks, boysclubs, and the humane society come to mind but I am sure there are plenty others. Also don't put it off too long because you might have to set it up in advance

You have the amount of time the judge said you had when he imposed it. It will be in the court's written orders as well. If you don't remember what the judge said, and you don't have the written order, call your lawyer (if you had one) or go back to the court and get a copy of the order. It is very unlikely that it is as long as 2 years.
