Salome was the sister of Mary, mother of Jesus & James . Mary & Salome brought spices to the tomb so they could anoint Jesus's body Salome was also the mother of James & John.
Mark 15:40 & Mark 16:1.

A different Salome was the daughter of Herodias danced for King Herod & asked for John the Baptist head.
