I think you should definitely give love another try, but being hurt in the past could be used to your advantage, don't let your guard down so easily this time, make sure your in love before you say you are. You don't want to seem too needy, men don't like that, Independence is sexy. You don't need to make a man work hard to see your feelings, but don't be throwing them out like Halloween candy either, be yourself and have fun. good lucky!

I somewhat have had canines all my life too yet theydont enable canines the position i now stay and that i cant stand that yet someone learns to stay with some regulations. Compromise. Mediate. I am going through the same thing, lost my one true love. We split up 4 years ago and I am now just starting to date. I think the key is to move slowly and not to rush anything. There is another love out there for you, he just wasn't the one. Whatever you do, don't compare anyone to your ex, that will mess you up forever.
