God was made up in man's image because he was made up by man, so naturally, god has human traits. What else would you expect from pre-bronze age goat herders?

We are made in his image, his likeness.... What does that say to you..... Yes he does have feelings, he does feel hurt, especially when the Churches don't fill, when people don't think of Xmas as Jesus Birthday. God's compassion, or when his feelings are hurt, he feels these perhaps ten times stronger than the way we feel it.
God's happiness is off our charts the other way, God express what he feels, God can be very loud, thunder, earth quakes, when God parted the red sea.
God loves it when we don't give up on him, sometimes he plays with that, like a test, but he feels so good when we past in that way, and either God in some way pat you on the back by communicate, or Holy ghost may fill your heart.
If you become very close to him, you may know or feel when he is hurt, because he would act different, praise God, love and hug him, you'll feel Him change when you make him feel better, God is strong, yet sensitive.
God Bless:)

Yes, of course God has feelings. He loves us all and died for every one of us and yet so many of His precious children offend Him daily by sinning and even bashing Him and denying Him. He must feel tremendous Pain and Sorrow in His Sacred Heart knowing that He suffered such a horrible death so that All could be saved and be with Him in heaven, and yet he is ignored and shunned and rejected. It is said that Jesus sweat tears of blood while He was praying in the garden of Gethsemane because He knew that what He was about to suffer for our sake would not be accepted or appreciated by many, and therefore souls would still be lost.
I am sure that God also experiences Joy, especially when one of His lost sheep returns to the fold, and Love because He is Love and has shown extraordinary love and patience for His people throughout the ages. And I believe God experiences anger at times because of terrible, outrageous, hateful behavior on the part of His Children toward what is good and sacred.. But God is All Good so any anger He feels or shows would better be characterized as Righteous Indignation.

I agree with bryton100. But I also believe that He gets sad when His children does not see nor recognize the Truth and doesn't live by it. He does feel emotion and even has a sense of humor. I don't believe that He gets depressed though. Only humans will allow sadness to go to that length.

The personality of Jesus that emerges from the Gospels is that of a man of tender warmth and deep feelings. He displayed a broad range of emotional responses: pity for a leper (Mark 1:40, 41); grief over an unresponsive people (Luke 19:41, 42); righteous indignation at greedy money changers (John 2:13-17). A man of empathy, Jesus could be moved to tears, and he did not hide his emotions. When his dear friend Lazarus had died, the sight of Mary, Lazarus’ sister, weeping touched Jesus so deeply that he gave way to tears himself, crying in full view of others.—John 11:32-36.
15 Jesus’ tender feelings were especially evident in the way he viewed and treated others. He reached out to the poor and oppressed, helping them to ‘find refreshment for their souls.’ (Matthew 11:4, 5, 28-30) He was not too busy to respond to the needs of the afflicted, whether a hemorrhaging woman who quietly touched his garment or a blind beggar who would not be silenced. (Matthew 9:20-22; Mark 10:46-52) Jesus looked for the good in others and commended them; yet, he was also willing to offer reproof when needed. (Matthew 16:23; John 1:47; 8:44) At a time when women enjoyed few rights, Jesus treated them with a balanced measure of dignity and respect. (John 4:9, 27) Understandably, a group of women willingly ministered to him from their own belongings.—Luke 8:3.
Jesus was a Master Teacher. Much of his teaching reflected the realities of everyday life, with which he was well acquainted. (Matthew 13:33; Luke 15:8) His manner of teaching was matchless—ever clear, simple, and practical. Even more significant is what he taught. His teachings reflected his heartfelt desire to acquaint his listeners with the thoughts, feelings, and ways of Jehovah.—John 17:6-8.

We are made in God's image. So, He does have feelings. The Bible says He does. Just because we are human and He is not doesn't mean He can't have emotions. That is the mystery about God. We, as humans, are not capable of knowing exactly how powerful and awesome He is. He wants you to worship Him because He created you and wants us to live a better and more meaningful life.

Yes He gets sad. Death of His only Son and our sin. The New Testament explains what makes Him sad and how we can know. The Old Testament will give examples that we can see that made God sad. Such as the Israelites worshiping the golden calves.

When the ones he made turn away from him and don't praise and worship him he is really sad. I believe God hurts when we disobey him.
We are to Love the Lord with all our soul with all our might and with all our power. He wants us to aknowledge that he is the one true God. Why not worship and praise him after all he is our provider our healer our friend. I am so glad I know him in the Power of the Holy Ghost.!!! Thank you Jesus for saving me!!!!

The Bible says he greives for our sin.
He wants us to worship him because he's God and he deserves it.
Emotions are human trails because we are made in the emotional/spiritual likeness of God. (Think Genesis, "Let us make man in our own image" - that's the image it's talking about)

Jesus said in Matthew 23:37, "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing." God can be saddened by our will.
