I was not in the "Reserve" I was in the National Guard. We were not activated during the 7 and 1/2 years I was in the Guard. I spent two weeks a year at summer camp.
Does this time county toward social security benefits. I was told by the SS person to ask.

Time doesn't "count" toward benefits. Paying into SS does. So if you had SS withheld from your pay them you are cool. If you didn't then you won't have that count.

The time spent on maneuvers I believe would count toward VA benefits and as far as pay goes you should have been paying towards Social Security. That would be included in your benefits you receive for social security on retirement along with what you paid in with your regular employment.

Yes, you are paid social security. You might be eligible for a pension if you served in at least 24 months worth of conflict.

i would look on my pay stub to see if they deducted anything for social security if they didnt then i would say no
