And my dad says untrue things to him about my mom and her family.

Have a talk with your brother. Tell him you really want to be in the same house with him. Ask him if he would consider coming home if you and he both went to Dad's over the summer, and maybe over winter and spring breaks. Just tell him whichever house you go to you want to go to together.

I am sorry that your brother no longer lives with you. That must be the most difficult thing in the world for you and your Mom. All I can say is that I have witnessed this with other families and the brother always sees it when he grows up. Unfortunately your dad is buying your brothers love and filling his head with lies about your Mom. Only time will show your brother the truth.
You have heard of reversed psychology. This is where you agree with your brother. You do not have to agree that your Mom is certain things, but agree with his feelings, don't argue with him.You don't have to agree that your Mom is bla bla bla. Say that you understand that he feels this way. If you argue that he is wrong than when things get bad with your dad he will still stay. Be open and let him experience his mistake he may come home sooner. Agree with your brother he will start defending you and your mother. The reverse psychology method is how can my Mom and brother be so bad if they listen to my feelings and love me no matter what. Why is my Dad so awful saying my Mom is so mean? If you and your Mom are good to him even if it is painful, he will come back to you.

ok, what u need to do is call him and tell that u want him to come home and tell him if u want to that your dad is lying to him it might hurt him at first but tell him that you'll always be there for him.

Call your brother and tell him that your father is lying. Also tell him you miss him. If that doesn't work, bribe him to come back.

maybe on your birthday tell him that it wouldn't be fun with out him and you could both reminisce about your childhood and the fun times you two had.....

your father and mother are equal. so, if he wants to call home living with his father, then, thats his home. you have your choice too. sorry
