I treated them all in the correct and polite way, not because I'm muslim, because I know that's the right thing to do.

I always treat people who work in the service industry with respect and I'm almost always nice. I've been in their shoes. My day job is in the service industry. I think the gods would be pleased that I'm usually nice. :) Of course there are some days when I should be made to stand in a corner for being cranky ... but then we all have those days.

I'm not always at my best, but I'm glad to say I was very pleasant to everyone I came in contact with today, from my employers to the nice lady who took my lunch order. I didn't place the change in her hand--I paid with plastic,--but I did walk back up to the counter after eating and tell her I enjoyed the meal. I used to do that in New York City and they thought I was a loon. Ah, well. Probably so. But I try never to forget that people are people.

"god" wouldn't say anything, since he doesn't exist...

Like the first poster, I treated everyone I met today with kindness and respect. And I don't need a made-up god telling me to be nice to do so. I feel very sorry for people who would only be nice to somebody because they were afraid "god" would be watching and send them to hell if they weren't...:(

I treat every service person and veteran very well becuase I respect them and the work they do...they are heroes. Having said that, God would say to me: " Why in heaven's name do you still cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs...they haven't won since 1968!!!!"

Ratbrain, you don't have to give God permission to speak.

God would say, "Well done." I was nice to everyone I met today and I met almost 40 new people today.

Having been in service work, I do my best to be as kind to people as I can. Bless you, my daughter for reminding people to be kind.

I treated them all very well, and I am an Agnostic. I suppose if there is a God, Goddess, or Gods, he, she, it, or they are probably pretty happy with my social interactions.

He would smile at me because I do these things. I don't even go to church regularly. It's called respect. Everyone deserves it. However there are alot of people that want it but don't know how to give it.

I didn't leave my house so I don't have to worry about it. Oh yeah, the gas man came to fill my propane tank and I was really nice to him.
