I have social anxiety a lot. Sometimes if I have to talk to a really cute boy or go to a job interview, I get really freaked out and almost have a panic attack. However, I really don't want to resort to prescription medication. Does anyone know of any remedies, natural treatments, or other ways to help combat this? Thanks.

Social anxiety is difficult to treat, especially if it's severe. However,it's the most common anxiety disorder.Medications can help alleviate the worst of the symptoms.Seeing a psychologist or a course of CBT may be of some help too.

Just believe in yourself. Take a few deep breathes. Even step back from the situation for a short period of time. You could always try herbs but before you do talk to some one at the health store where you could buy them from. try yoga, and if all else fails there is always meds.
