Why are there many Christians messed up in the head? The reason I'm asking this is because many Christians act like they know God even though they never met the guy and they think a book that is over 2000 years old is the answers to life.

Because when a person receives Christ they have The Holy Spirit with them, and Jesus walks with them, when you don't have the Lord, of coarse you are going to be blind and not understand because you have a veil covering your eyes, that satan will keep thier if he can, thats his job.

somehow i doubt the ACLU would accept that bible garbage comment as religious persecution but if someone make a comment on the quran oh boy watch out... anyways christians arent messed up in the head, we simply have had our eyes opened to the truth and i hope that blind eyes could see the truth soon. oh and he walks with us every day.
this may explain our faith statement a little better
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.

it was then that I carried you."

God comes into your heart and your life when you are a believer. The Holy Spirit will guide you and show you the way to go. We DO know God, and He knows all of us. He knows you, too.

Reminds me of my old atheist friend who thinks that he was made by NOTHING. I don't think he is messed up in the head...I KNOW he is very messed up all over.

the reason why they act like this for is because they are freaking hipocripts!if you find that christians are like that than maybe try wicca.lol it is alot better than christianity.also the christians think they are snobs and whatnot.they think they live on top of the world.so i need not be a christian for i am a dark pagan.

They're all "messed up in the head". Religion (not just xtianity) is for foolish undereducated people with simplistic child like world views. They're not quite intelligent enough to shed the "mind virus" they were indoctrinated with. They're an embarrassment to us all.

the book isn't the answer its the words that were written in there by the all powerful God. i have a personal relationship with God and no one understands that like another christiann would. you have to experiance it personally

so you dont have to worry about dying. its comfort knowing theres something after death, and some people overly embrace this idea, which leads them waiting for their death, seemingly becoming an obssession.
